revamp? did you start throwing the ball? must have missed that, to me it seemed like you got shut out by bama and lost to a terrible florida team... but ya you did run for a bunch of yards against mizzou. CONGRATS

He wants the power of being head coach I guess. He won't be a bad head coach for a program of FAU's level. He's just not cut out for a program like USCw.
He also might figure that he can get a Power 5 HC gig if he does well at FAU.

I think everyone assumes he was pushed out because his contract wasn't extended. Lane's maturity comes into question and I think it wore on Saban. He hasn't done anything on the field, that warrants dismissal, other than questionable play calling at times.
