Not always a Manning fan but that is backwards.
It is a partnership built on PR as much as money with the megabucks Benson Children's Hospital at Oshsner being built. It puts two Hall of Fame QBs and a beloved hometown QB in a position to promote the facility for a lifetime.

Manning,was co-chairman of the school’s search committee that hired Freeze in December 2011. He was a friend of Freeze and defended him to the bitter end.
