One can be proud of his heritage without being hateful.
That said, I don't think a Pro-White rally is any different than a Pro-Black rally or a Brown Pride rally.
If you are rallying behind your ethnic group, then you are preferring them over everybody else.
A case might have been made 30 years ago that blacks or Mexicans or whoever might need to be viewed differently. But no more.
As a male who has grown up with Affirmative Action policies in virtually every institution my whole life, I say frick your ethnic pride rallies.
Latino Power is racist. Brown Pride is racist. Black Power is racist. So is the KKK.
If every ethnicitiy were held to the same standards, as this country likes to pretend, then there'd be a lot fewer Michael Hudecs out there pissed off.

+1. Now that is a good perspective on this matter. Only White Europeans can be racist and anyone else is allowed to band together with their tribe and lobby for special privleges. If minorities want the racism to end then they need to close their own mouths and promote a standard that whites are already expected to uphold.

And in retrospect I think it was a wise decision to get rid of the song. The sooner you get through with nonsense like this the sooner people will forget about it. Besides, you can always bring the song back once things cool down.
