KJ Jefferson will NOT be the best SEC QB next season, and I'm here to tell you why

It's bc KJ's impact on his team goes well beyond that of simply being the QB.

We've all seen his immense talent as both a passer and a runner, and given Pittman's prolific offensive coaching, reasonable expectations for KJ are 5000 yards and 40 TD passing, with 2000 yards and 20 TD added on the ground.

But those of you who didn't watch KJ lead his Arkansad razorbacks last season may not realize that despite his ability to carry any team on his back, KJ is also an incredibly selfless player. When his RBs are carrying the ball, KJ isn't simply taking a play off to catch his breath, KJ is acting as lead blocker and laying out defenders left and right.

So KJ is not just a quarterback. Depending on what his team needs him to do for the play, KJ will also take on the role of halfback and fullback as well.

It's disrespectful to simply label such an impactful player as a QB. KJ has earned his own title, he's invented his own position.

Quarterback + Halfback + Fullback

KJ Jefferson is the world's first 1.75back

Why would I be upset? I love Arkansad and I love seeing KJ get all the hype he deserves

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if y'all finally get that Auburn monkey off y'all's back with KJ leading the way. That's how high on him I am.

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic. While I think the numbers you posted are a little on the high end the rest of your post is accurate.

He is a good player, but he isn't Matt Jones level good. Hendon Hooker will post better stats imo.

He's a way better passer than Matt Jones ever was. Try again.

Matt Jones was electric. He had an X factor that goes beyond just passing. He was just way ahead of his time. Freak athlete. What other college QB could be a an NFL starting WR?

I would agree based solely on last season but KJ could match or exceed him this year

Matt Jones X factor was that he was 6-5 with 4.3 speed. There might have something else that was a "key" that would "bump" his play to another level though.
