Nothing about this thread was spam, you stupid, inbred, Alabama jackass.
This thread is about comments made by nationally known broadcaster, during a prime time game between two ranked teams.
I'm sorry your extreme ignorance does not allow you to engage in dialogue. You are the shite head trashing the board.

The tempo offenses are pretty unethical. Trying to stop defenses from substituting and running absurd numbers of plays at high tempo increases risk of injury to the defensive players and also puts intentional strain on the officiating. It's a cheap strategy
Like I said, the game evolves. Teams have to adapt with it. Stopping play with fake injuries is not a strategy. It's a cheap way to stop the game.

This isn't new... and it IS unethical. They should bench the "injured" player for the whole series and it would slow down a bit
I'm glad it got called out on national TV. I hope he hammers on it this Saturday from the GameDay platform.

What do you expect from a coach that got his success from stealing signs and feeding his players steroids? They should make it where if you go down and disrupt the game in any way, you sit out the rest of that series, and the next. See if they still want to slow the game that bad?

I said it earlier in the thread and I'll say it again. I'm not all that concerned about defenses using a technicality so they can set up their defense.
The entire point on the hurry up offense is to keep the defense from being able to get set up on defense. I'm fine with it when a team needs to score fast because their low on time. But it's borderline bad form for your offensive philosophy not to be to out-scheme or out-perform your opponent, but just to make it so they can't get set up by running plays super fast.
I'm okay with players going down as "injured" when they're fatigued. Why? Because the opponent isn't giving them time to sub out. I don't want guys passing out due to not being able to get off the field because the other team is running plays too fast.
I'm also okay with a rule change making it so that a player who uses an injury time out has to sit out the remainder of the drive. I think there's good reason for a player needing a time out to get off the field to sit out the drive even if the reason was just fatigue. Give them enough time to catch their breath.or get fully checked out for injury. But the current drive is enough time to sit out, hot a half or a quarter.

With a hurry-up, neither offense nor defense substitutes, so that sounds pretty equitable to both sides. And if the offense can set up quickly, there’s no reason the defense can’t do the same – again, both sides have the same challenge. Defenses that can’t keep up need to work on their conditioning and/or recruit more versatile players. Maybe having 350-pound, out-of-shape fat-asses is not good for the players long-term health nor good for the game. Time to get faster, lighter and stronger on defense.

The big issue is many of us have no idea who he actually is... other than "that annoying Tennessee alt". For all I know there may be 2 or 3 real people behind it... but they are all just "that Tennessee alt to me".
If he's trying to do this to get recognition, it's not really working.
The freakouts are slightly amusing though. It happens every time yet he keeps going through the same motions.

Nothing they can do since officials don’t want to guess whether a player is faking or not.
