Kirby is a control freak, so obviously he wants to gets kids on campus as much as possible, but like the RRS, the WLOCP is an event type neutral site game in a major city between interstate rivals. It’s almost ideal type recruiting because it’s one of the best environments for friends and family to be involved with, easy to access, and then guess what, you can get them on campus later! You’re selling people the totality of a schedule, not an individual game or location. And as someone that follows Aggy recruiting, I’d love if the RRS went to home and home. That game is played in a shite hole ancient stadium. I’d much rather some East Texas kid visit Norman on a hot arse day against South Dakota or whatever.

Everyone is so one dimensional and falls for silly absolutes like “cOlLeGe FoOtBaLl GaMeS bElOnG oN cAmPuS”.

So dumb.

The early season money grab games should be on campus. Traditional rivalries played at neutral sites should stay at their neutral sites.

Since 1990, y'all have only won 10 times against UF. Just letting you UGA fans know this..

If you could scientifically measure egos then anyone looking at Bama's and UGA's trophy cases would think Bama's belonged to UGA.

If Florida or Auburn were to win a Natty in the next few years UGA fans would be the first to say "act like you've been here before" and somehow miss the irony.

Watching football =/= recruiting

With no staff contact, this new change does nothing other than allow UGA to pick up the tab for families who probably do not have another weekend to take an official visit before early signing in December.

This is an accounting move to compensate parents with very restrictive schedules. Nothing more.

Since 1990

the rallying cry of all florida football fans.

How about the last 5 years?
Or since kirby has been our head coach?
Or the last 10 years?

1990, when steve spurrier was coaching against ray goff and followed by jim donnan, has less than nothing to do with present day.

All Florida fans think football started in 1990. Spurrier beating up on the dynamic duo of Goff and Donnan doesn't help Napier for what he's about to deal with.

lol

Gee I wonder what happened differently with UF football from 2011-present compared to 1990-2010? Surely it was something important.

At any rate, we're 7-4 since then so whatever it was I'm not hatin

Yes all of us that were alive, and especially all the top 48 year old freshman recruits remember the abnormally successful UF run of 1990 to 2010. RIP UF Football, hell some of them may remember when Texas was back 17 years ago.

But I think most recruits are more aware of UGA being 7-4 against Florida for the past decade and UF changing coaches every other year.
