He came blustering into the LSU job talking about how Ole Miss was racist, stuck in the past, supported the Confederacy, and how he could no longer recruit black players because, evidently, some of the modern day player's great, great, great grandmama's remember how it used to be in Oxford.
Now, this hypocritical bastard is the plantation owner that has no issue at all with permanently retiring a white homosexual's jersey who won the Heisman but just can't do the same for a black kid that won the Heisman.
Pitiful. He was worried about recruiting at Ole Miss, imagine what this is going to do to LSU's recruiting.

What jersey numbers are off limits at LSU?
Someone said in another thread only heir Heisman winners numbers are off limits. Did they retire Burrows number bc it seems to be off limits?

It's terrible that Kippen has unilaterally decided, against the wishes of a successful young black man, to not retire his jersey when he was promised it would be done.
