The two of them together were a breath of fresh air for the rivalry. It’s never been this tame my entire life

I looked forward to a long a colorful rivalry between those two coaches. Mad at myself that I didn't make time to see an Egg Bowl in person with the Pirate coaching State.

It really is a shame we won't get anymore Egg Bowls between these two coaches. You could tell by their interactions with one another that there was a lot of mutual admiration there.

Tame, but incredibly competitive and intriguing. Proof that rivalries don’t need to be toxic to be great.
