Its an amazing look. He could literally not show up on the sidelines of a single game next year if we are winning games. Let's geaux baby!

Why? Not his team at this point, these aren't his players.

Neither owes anything to the other. I'd rather him be working on next year's team than wasting time with the 2025 iteration.

I like LSU...great program....but Kiffin has always come across as a used car salesman....kinda like Brian Kelly....and we learned about him at Notre Dame and LSU learned about him also. I hope LSU fans keep a safe distance from becoming fully invested in Kiffin.

LSU will rally around Kiffin as they did around BK. Can't blame them, they are married to him now. When he burns everything in Baton Rouge as he did in Knoxville, Tuscaloosa, and Oxford, or falls on his face like he did in L.A. with the Raiders and USC then we will get to see the true feelings of LSU fans. The divorce is going to be Jerry Springer level trashy!

My true feelings on Lane are that he was probably the best/most proven coach available.

I like that he knows how to use the portal, runs a good offense, and knows the SEC.

He can be immature at times and may leave LSU if a job like Texas or Alabama comes open, that's just part of the Lane experience, but that would also mean he was pretty successful at LSU.

Not a fan of his 4th down attempts and expect to be frustrated with that.

I know he'll definitely be under the microscope here, as has already been proven.

I don't know if he'll win a natty but expect to make a playoff in his first three seasons.

I expect some growing pains next season because the offensive line will need to be rebuilt, we need a quarterback, and it's a fairly tough schedule.

This right here....like I said I hope LSU fans dont become to invested in this dude....he has failed at every single big profile job he has had. The biggest slap in Kiffins face was when USC fired him on an airport tarmac....didnt even let him come back to the university. But the 2nd biggest isnt when he was a head coach....its when he was an assistant and Saban fired him before the National Championship. That tells you all you need to know...he got fired from the Raiders.....ran for the hills from Tennessee...got fired from USC....got fired from Alabama......and left Ole Miss in the dirt while during a playoff run....he's as used car salesman as Brian Kelly....I promise you.

So none of the players that played today will be playing next year at LSU?

Sure, but he hasn't taken over yet. He isn't the one who is having day to day interactions with these players at this point.

If my company had an incoming CEO who was effective 1/1, I wouldn't be concerned with him leaving the Christmas party early.

And do you wanna know where Kiffin shite the bed the most and exposed himself as a piece of shite used car salesman?....when he left Ole Miss and was a bitch that they wouldnt let him coach in the playoffs....and he tried to wreck their chances by saying any coach that wants to be with me in Baton Rouge better be at the airport when I leave....what a fricking douchebag. And LSU fans....I think would agree....that was a bitch arse move.

None of that really matters to me because some of it is clearly not true and the timeline left him no choice.

The part about him threatening coaches and staff doesn't seem to be true because the majority of coaches and staff hired at LSU from Ole Miss weren't on the plane with him that Sunday.

That's pretty fair.
