Which is based on preseason rankings …
There are no "rankings" that get used for SoS. I'm not aware of any SoS metric that uses "rankings", much less "preseason rankings". If they do, they are shite. Hell, SoS metrics that just use win%'s are also shite.
In fact, SoS is part of what people use to make rankings, not the other way around.
This is just ignorant excuses losers make to justify their losing.

You’re so fricking dumb. Strength of schedule is based 100% off preseason rankings.
Top 25 gets ranked then each schedule is predicted wins and losses based upon who they’re scheduled to play. This is why Arkansas always has a tough sos because most teams we play are ranked or predicted above us. Key word here is predicted.
Take away rankings for 4 weeks then you have a more accurate strength of schedule and rankings.

It’s gonna be very funny when Miss State and Jeff Lebby win this game after these comments.
Any other year I might would think this, but not this year. OM is going to obliterate State. Probably something like 66-10.

Well, one of us has made advanced opponent adjusted metrics in the past which predicted the winners of games with 75% accuracy, and the other one thinks preseason rankings are part of the formulas.
fricking retard.

Cool. Doesn’t change the fact that SOS is determined before a game is played

Are you arguing playing “down” SEC teams like a 7-4 LSU and 6-5 Florida is the same as ACC and B12 teams? So there’s no difference in playing a 6-5 Boston College vs Florida or a 7-4 Texas Tech vs LSU? Both of the SEC schools have more talent in their second and third string than those schools do starting
There’s not enough data points to know what you said is true. When the conference only has a handful of teams who play OOC Big 12 or ACC teams in any given season, it’s hard to tell who is better. If the SEC or BIG TEN had each of its teams playing two games from those lesser conferences every year, it would paint a much clearer picture of overall strength

Nobody is going to stop you from being stupid in this world, but I don't have to keep wasting my time on it.
