It’s absolutely beyond ridiculous to use 1 half of one game to determine this one way or another. There’s so many factors involved too with players may or may not be leaving, coaches coaching that won’t be there etc. A full first year for both would be much more fair of a comparison.

Golding may be a better HC than a DC. His schemes were too complex.
If he gets the right DC and a pretty good OC he could surprise some folks.
I was glad as hell he left Bama. Worst hire Saban hired and kept
The better DC was Jeremy Pruitt. Nobody considered him super smart like Pete. He knew how to let the talented players kick arse on defense.

Upset? I just said it would be ridiculous to compare the two at this time, more made the post for the entirety of the thread but yea your response was the one I responded to
