This is going to force the SEC officials to either credit them with a touchdown or call a touchback on them.

I bet that sounded funnier in your head.

Maybe he hasn't had his coffee yet.

True, true. It's still early.

The historic have nots of the SEC continually get sh*t on by SEC officials any time they are playing one of the Big 6 members. It’s just the way it is.

I completely agree. It's not just the Big 6. They almost always help the higher ranked team.

That might be what is needed after that horrible call. How does replay not overturn that?

Everyone shatting on this post must not have seen the play. It was awful. And I don’t have a Dawg in this fight

The missed safety was just as bad. They didn't even review it.

If you’re talking about getting cheated, I agree with you.

Looks like the ball got out of the end zone before he was knocked backwards imo. Either way, that angle doesn’t tell us that much.

Can’t tell for certain but looked closed to being down around the two.

You want to get the calls in basketball or football? The SEC makes you pick one. Looks like you picked basketball.

The ball is in his left hand and his body is turned such that his left side is furthest away from crossing the goal line to get out of the endzone. It does NOT look like his left side is FULLY out. The ball has to be FULLY out of the endzone to NOT be a safety. It's not that hard to see. The best camera angle (the one provided in the gif) doesn't show the ball, so overturning that call should not be the outcome, but I still think it was closer to being a safety than not and should have been called a safety on the field.

I agree. He has no problem when teams get jobbed at Rupp.

Only the nose of the football has to be on the line just like scoring a TD.
Probably should have been reviewed.
