Don't be silly. Kentucky will do what it takes to be a basketball power.

I'll take wishful thinking and projection for $100, Alex.

Who knew that hiring a coach with the worst success to talent ratio in college basketball over the last lustrum would convince a fanbase that there was a "new sheriff in town" and he was wearing Cardinal and Apple Blossom.

And you guys have what? Hot bubbly water you sit in and get covered by some fellow Hog’s arse crack grease?

You guys are so jacked up and trying to convince yourselves this is a home run hire you must have forgot all one has to do is go back on this forum and see what the Hog fans REALLY think about Cal.

In less than a month he's gone from “can’t coach, grease ball, Yankee carpetbagging used car salesman” to savior of Hogs hoops

Just get the warranty.

The difference between Cal and fisher is Cal has been successful at each college coaching position he had over many years.

Fisher got lucky one year with one player and when he left it was over. A blind man could see the aggys were making a mistake.

Kentucky basketball is sinking to the level of Kentucky football.

In the NIL era, there is no cheating like Kentucky got away with for decades. Their budget is only 2.5 million whereas Arkansas’ is 6 million.
Damn! IF it takes $6MM in NIL to field a decent 15 player basketball team, a LOT of programs are going to be in bad shape.

Matt Jones just reported 2 doners have pledged 4 million up front to build the program so we’re already catching up with Arkansas budget.

Check on that budget in a couple years though when Cal starts losing relationships with the Doners.
