The buyout is an issue, but Pope makes 3.5 million less than what Cal did and we can probably get Sumrall for 4-5 million a year, so that pays for the buyout. That's if Stoops doesn't find another job or takes a settlement.
Stoops did better than anyone since Bear, but he's also had the most support as well. Hell, he's had more support of all coaches combined for a long time. It's time for a change.
