I'm always impressed that UK gives a true SEC game day experience. Will give you that

And every few years or so the team is really good.

I know UK has not done well this season but it doesn't change the fact that we've done well the past few years. I don't care if we are 2-9 I still appreciate the hard work we have done to be successful in the SEC.

This thread is a highlight of accomplishments that Kentucky has had over the past few years.

I've been to 2 games in Commonwealth.
The first was the Bluegrass Miracle, where Jared Lorenzen laid down after the game in a pool of tears, and immediately became a local attraction. Kids came from all around to the pregnant Beluga whale and eagerly awaited its baby, Cocoa.

The second was the #1 debacle, where Kentucky's Jumbletron continued to play this obscene video of several Kentucky DBs doing an some putrid R&B song I assume was named "We Believe." This refrain didn't end, and most of them looked and sounded like Left-Eye after forced hormone therapy.

I eated at the Waffle House both times and was repulsed by the lack of ochre oil surrounding my island of grits.

I did see a horsey tee-tee though.

I liked watching KY football in the early 2000's when Battleship Lorenzen was playing.

As horrible as Kentucky was this year, you still came close to beating Georgia.

i had a discussion with my vtech buddy earlier today about his crumbling conference. he thought uk football was bad enough to fit it... not sure if i was correct, BUT i countered with they've beat a number 1 more recently than anybody in the acc. please let me know if this is true. i absolutely refuse to actually fact check this one myself

It would have given Georgia 2 losses in the SEC and put Florida in the SEC Championship and possibly the BCS National Championship.

Actually it is. A real UK Football would know while the team has had some minimal success, no respect gets earned in the cellar of the SEC.

All Kentucky needs is a James Franklin type of coach to get the team to believe in itself and you will be fine. I don't think you will have the type of program your basketball has but be an 7-8 win each year program.
