I'm not livid, but I think we deserved a better seed than the Gators. We're a better team, and have more quality wins.

They should have been a 3, and not in Ohio State's bracket. UF getting a 2 is just salt in the wound. I'd still trade with them though.

Damn right we are pissed, we hear all day that we are a top 10 RPI, Then we get a 4. Can't wait to hear Cal's remarks. I bet he gives the NCAA a big

Florida 11-3 vs. top 50
Kentucky 9-5

What were those teams rankings at the season's end?

UF was one of the leaders in the country for wins against top 50 teams. BTW, UF also has a top 10 RPI.
Not mention 13-3 in conference play is a lot better than 10-6.

I'm no UK fan but they should be livid. Florida is the worst 2 seed I can remember and they are in with the worst 3 seed I can remember, whereas UK is set to matchup with the #1 overall seed in the sweet 16.

Not to mention that we just dominated the Gators today, not at full strength.

I love the "Florida with OUR 2 seed" thread
no way in hell Kentucky was a 2 seed
Maybe both should have been 3s. But Florida has a better resume.

I am surprised we are a 2 seed as well, but a 3 seed was a lock. UF has an incredible resume against Top 50, on the road, on neutral courts, etc. Not to mention a 13-3 conference record.

I thought we would both be 3 seeds. UK as a 4 is a joke, especially in that region. Florida can coast to the elite 8.

I like the knowledgeable Kentucky fans trying to run me out of here for saying Florida has a better top 50 record. Standing my damn ground here.
You are honorable Bho.

I agree UK should be higher, they should be a 3. They have a great RPI and SOS as well. I thought we had to win to get to a 2, but I think it came down to BYU no longer deserving a 2 so they gave it to us.

Florida's resume is not that good. I'd take Syracuse, Louisville, UK, UCONN, Purdue over Florida.
Florida played well in a poor conference. Their big out of conference wins are Kansas St. and at Xavier. They have an out of conference loss to Ohio St. They may be 11-3 against the top 50 but most of those are at the bottom of that 50. They have 6 wins against top 25 teams (3 of which are vs. Vandy) and 0 wins against the top 10 (unless UK gets in there tomorrow). In addition, they also have losses to Jacksonville and Central Florida.
UK lost at UNC, UCONN. They have wins at Louisville, Notre Dame, and Washington.

Ok,then what does that say about UK's conference play?
UF was still 11-3. Better then just about every other team in the country against the top 50. No need to apologize for that. Also went 8-2 on the road and 4-2 on neutral courts. Also went 13-3 in a conference that had the 2nd most tournament bids.
Who did Cuse beat OOC? Or in the top 10? Who did Purdue beat OOC? UConn went .500 in conference.
