I relistened to his comments. I get the bad timing, but what he said is true. If you want the best players, you have to pay up. College and pros are simply the same now, there is no difference, as sad as that is to see.
I just wonder what the ROI is for these large doners who continually donate millions of dollars each year.

He's 100 percent correct. Kirby would be no better than Stoops with Kentucky's players imo.

No money! UK has no money!!! Our fans have to give more to keep up with Georgia who “buys” players. For his information, Georgia doesn’t buy players. They don’t need to. They abide by the same “rules” the NIL created. A elite Natty winning program that sends a ton of players to the NFL, an athletic program that has endless resources and is fully committed to creating a winning program, and a quality education in the #1 college town in the nation sells itself. Any player who UGA chooses is among the nations best and they understand that.
And yes, Georgia fans take pride in supporting our players thru NIL. We don’t buy players. We give NIL money to the proper groups who distribute it. NIL, like it or not, is the new reality. You can either support your program or whine about it. Sounds like UK is a cheapskate program with a HC who would rather whine.

Everyone buys players in the NIL era. Pretending like they don’t is naive at best. You might not spend big in the initial investment but I guarantee there are guys Georgia has stay put instead of transferring somewhere with more immediate PT because of the NIL.

Georgia has collectives. They give our athletes money. And they do it the way it was set up to be done. It’s a stupid system but it’s what it is until smarter heads figure out how to improve it.

We are a lot more popular than the toothless inbred hillbillies from Knoxville. It’s understandable why you and yours don’t like UGA. If some program had bashed my teams head in for over 20 years I wouldn’t like them either.

That was a pitiful display for sure. The only thing worse than his coaching was his players complete lack of discipline. They seemed to think acting like thugs would really intimidate Georgia. Yeah! It was SCARY!!!
