Talk about pissing away a potentially inspiring comeback.

Sorry, Cat fans. Losing like that sucks major arse.

Pat Fitzgerald is still a dumbass. That was a stupid call on that 4th down to go for it. They deserved to lose that game.

He needs to be spot fired. 1) you need a win going into next season so kick it and play for OT 2) run an rpo at the very least to have a chance to score 3) at least put a TE on right with a drag and throw back
Refs didn't lose that game. Crap!

why not just accept overtime?

Not a terrible idea. No players were really deep. You can catch the hands team off-guard with a kick over their heads. Get a lucky bounce and you have the ball in field goal range.

We lost to a horse level re.. well idiot.

Why not onside. Da fuq was that?
Posted on 12/29/17 at 7:25 pm to WeBleedCrimson
My Gosh, the way Kentucky lost to Florida and now this game. I can see why their fans are hesitant to enjoy games. Damn.

I don't think I've ever seen back to back dumbass decisions by coaches like that and we just fired Butch Jones.
Posted on 12/29/17 at 7:25 pm to LouisvilleKat
I agree with the 2 pt call. Kentucky had struggled all day moving the ball. I think northwestern would have won it in ot. Why not try to capitalize when they had all the momentum? It's not like they were playing for a championship or anything.

Kentucky, Missouri and A&M. Get the frick out
Posted on 12/29/17 at 7:25 pm to thatguy45
They were trying to drop it in the open field and beat northwestern to it and catch them off guard. Still dumb, but that appears to have been the plan.
