The tourney is going to be interesting because, except for Vandy and Ole Miss, I can see any other team making a run.

If you would have told me preseason that LSU would sweep Arkansas and A&M and enter the final week with an outside shot at the NCAA tournament bubble I'd have called you crazy.

And allll the LSU Fans that were called morons for saying Wade would have this team on the bubble can say I told you so.

The guy is an excellent coach, recruiter, and program promoter. We're very lucky to have him.

They still need a few more wins to even be on the bubble, so I think an "I told you so" is still premature.

LSU has had a nice year, but they are not currently on the bubble. Their RPI is 74. It's the 12th best RPI in the SEC, behind Georgia, South Carolina and Mississippi State, only ahead of Ole Miss (12-16) and Vanderbilt (11-17).

If they win out the next 3 games then they will give themselves a chance in St Louis, but they'd still probably have to make it to the finals.

Fair enough, we're on the bubble of the bubble. If we win the next game I think we'll be considered "First 4 Out" with a few games to play.

We were picked dead last in the SEC and this conference is stout this year. Its been a fantastic coaching job.

I tried to make several ban bets that we wouldn't finish last, but couldn't get any takers pre-season.

That's incorrect.

If we win out regular season, we only need 1 quality win in the SECT to slip in the tourny. I'll ban bet that right now.

Also says a lot about the Ags that they can’t beat out LSU

A nice year? Dude it's been an outstanding year! We won 2, 2 SEC games last year. A first year coach who completely revamped this team. Yeah a little better than just a "nice" year

If you win out your rpi is still going to be north of 50. It would take more than a win in the tournament to make the big dance.

In that exact scenario you would be 20-12 with a RPI of 57. You would not get into the NCAAT.

It'll be in the 50's and we'll have the most wins over top 30 RPI teams in the country.

That's before the 1 win the SECT.

You have no idea what our RPI would be because you don't know who we'd play in the SECT or how our opponents would do to end the year.

2 week ban bet right now.

If LSU wins out regular season and wins 1 game in SECT, we make the NCAA tournament.

Using the data available right now and using the tournament bracket right now - yes we do.

Outside of small variations it would all wash out, anyway.

Or full time ban bet, either is fine.

LSU isn't getting into the NCAAT with a RPI of 57

Next Four out currently, I'd say that's the bubble

Ok 2 week ban bet is set...

If LSU wins out regular season and wins 1 SECT game, we make the NCAA tournament. I say yes, you say no.

you only have 3 right now and 2 came against the same team which might not be in the top 30 soon. None of your final 3 are top 30 teams.

Sure, why not, though I'd rather just do a total ban bet

Damn, it changed a good bit. Well I was wrong, my bad.

Still fully believe we'll make the NCAA if we win out and win 1 SECT game (I don't think we'll do this, but the scenario is fun to think about).

Its obviously not a 100% sure thing, I'm just really confident in it.

I'm not risking a lifetime of not having Tigerdroppings to procrastinate at work
