Add another sport in which Sankey has the SEC playing on an unlevel field. He screwed us all with the 9-game schedule in football. Now SEC teams will be playing against teams with players who were selected in the NBA Draft.
Side note: Kansas noted its new player, Trey Kaufman-Renn, officially enrolled in classes on October 19. How the hell does anyone start class in the middle of October??

Kansas has been doing this since the end of WW2.

Pretty sure LSU was looking at him too. Imagine if Will Wade tried this shite.

Are you pretending college sports has anything to do with academics anymore?

There are 2 very distinct "NBA draft guys" seeking eligibility:
#1 guys looking to be grandfathered into Five For Five
These are only the players that completed eligibility last year and argue they wouldn't have entered the draft had they been given the extra year.
#2 guys that have nothing at all to do with Five For Five
Mainly international players that entered previous NBA drafts and then chose to play pro internationally instead of the G League
Category 1: Five For Five players that never signed pro deals will have good luck getting eligibility
(like ND transfer DE Junior Tuihalamaka for LSU).
Category #2: The NCAA/SEC will fight like hell to keep out foreign players that, say, entered the 2024 NBA draft but then played professional ball overseas. They want to keep that door of entering NBA draft then also playing professional anywhere closed as tightly as possible.
