I work with his brother and he stated Justin is 95% sure he is going to LSU because the coaching staff told him he could play QB. 5'11" 175 any thoughts.

uhh, he is starting out at QB at Alabama.. so I don't know why he would switch.

If you're a shitty QB prospect but want to start for an SEC program, LSU is most definitely the place to go

im fine with telling him we will give him a shot at qb to get him here then convincing him otherwise once he is on campus.

gotta do what you gotta do

No matter where he goes to school the same thing is going to happen. He is going to be given a "chance" to play qb. He will not start and will be moved to another position.

I every time I hear stuff like this. Not because he wants to leave his commitment with Bama, but because these kids end up making decisions based off of narrow mindedness and stubbornness. If he really doesn't want to be at Bama that's fine. He's probably a great athlete and a good pick up for anyone. But if he is going somewhere because he absolutely thinks he is a QB, and will never been anything but a QB...c'mon man.

He's is commited to BAMA but wants to play QB. Ran sub 4.3 at a couple of camps last year. He is the QB for the Prattville Lions about 10 mintues north of Montgomery.

Yes

All except RS. HE wanted to try at qb. If you ever saw his passing....well, he is where he needs to be.

We don't have the scholarships to do that. 21 is the number we are shooting for

Yep. I feel bad for some of these kids. They want one thing for themselves, even if it isn't in their best interests. Knowing this, most of the coaching staffs in the SEC will take advantage of them to get their signature, and then give them nothing more than a token opportunity to play the position they wanted to. And yes, Saban does this shite all the time.

I agree. Most of them get to camp and see for themselves they have no chance against the competition for QB, and they gladly accept a new role. Most of them don't get bitter and transfer.

90% of all his highlight vids from high school are of him running the ball out of the shotgun

I sort of wish I could be there when it dawns on them they can't cut it in the SEC at QB. I would be like "you see dumbass? We all tried to tell you months ago."

We have Winston, Liggins, Alford, and Lambert camping this weekend. Thomas has no shot at QB here . Lambert all a sudden is real high on LSU. idk where it came from

Thomas looks like a big-time player to me. Very fast. Not a QB though. If they lied to Russell Shephard, they're lying to him.

I don't believe this post, though.
