Takes a team... but shouldn't a bama fan know that?

He’s referring to Burrow, not cousins.

Yeah, I got that, I just wasn’t interested in the way these things usually go and wanted to point out that JJ accomplished a really great season with a trash can for a qb instead of an all-time great.

I thought this Covid asterisks season didn’t count. It does now? Cool. Good to know.

Jefferson has had a phenomenal season. Really bright future ahead.

football is a team sport. one person won't win the game. now golf is a different story.

Well, yes, because golf isn't a sport. It's a recreational activity, and a damned boring one at that.

And aside from last year they amazingly underperform on a yearly basis.

The NFL played out almost exactly like a normal season. It’s completely different from college. To be clear though I have never said this season was an asterisks in college football, just that its not normal

Can we all just agree LSU and Bama has elite talent and what they did last year this year and in the pros is impressive. I’m honestly worn out from all this shite.

That you don't believe one player can win a game.

Gotta admit, I wasn’t that impressed with him in college, thinking he was just a passenger on the Burrow train, but man he’s been fantastic this year

Not even close to true. You had multiple player opt out of the season (including at least 2 starters on the Patriots D). You had multiple players miss games due to positive Covid tests - including starters like Lamar Jackson, Humphrey, Fitzgerald, Jarvis Landry, Cam Newton, etc. They don't miss for non-injury reasons in "normal" seasons.

It’s completely different from college.

Only in that the NFL was uniform in their policy and college was not, and that the NFL - despite many postponements - got all their games in. The challenges from a practice, game, testing, contact tracing, etc standpoint were all the same.
