Fields sounds like one of those kids who believe their Marine recruiters that tell them they'll be an aviation mechanic. Then they end up digging a hole in the mud as an 0311.

But the Corps does have aviation mechanics. No chance this would happen unless they were a dumbass and went open contract.

Bama seemed to handle that situation fine with Hurts who was throwing the ball while bama had leads. And regardless, Kirby should be trying to do what is best ofr his players on the team as opposed to protecting his image from some stupid outcry.
