Not factual at all.
What are the facts of the incident?
Did Kelly not send the teen into a dangerous situation?
He had him 40 feet up on a scissor lift with 53mph winds. He only got away with it because they paid off the family to not pursue it.

Kelly didn't send the kid up, the video coordinator did. He also told the kid not to raise the lift above the goalposts but the kid had it extended nearly to the max. The video coordinator also decided to not send a female up because it was too dangerous
Also, they didn't pay the family anything
Plenty to trash BK over without blaming him for an accident he was barely even involved in

I’m actually surprised at how BK swept that whole thing under the rug at ND. Everyone on the rant knows the story, but you would be surprised how there are still a lot of people who don’t even know about it. And before the apologists spew the narrative BK didn’t have any responsibility, he absolutely did NOT have to hold practice outdoors that day and had the option to not bring it outdoors. The weather in the region was a big concern. This was back when Jim Tressel was coaching at OSU and if I remember correctly even he made a comment about the weather being bad and holding practice indoors for his team either the day before or day of the ND incident happened. BK tried to claim he was wholly unaware and didn’t realize it was bad weather until after it happened, and that’s just absolutely untrue.

The admin around this place are the equivalent to Burger King employees in Baton Rouge.
Only thing that will get you banned is a porn bombing..... AFTER the admin review the content for several minutes.

Just weeks ago you could get banned for talking too much about Brian Kelly’s “incident” … involving a young man and a practice at Notre Dame

Damn I am old, I remember when we couldn't make jokes about Les's wife.

I’m not going to spend much time on this since your mind is set.
I haven’t looked at the reports in years so I won’t correct your assessment of how involved Kelly was in the decision making.
However, is it not the HC’s job to make sure everyone on his staff is doing their job? Did no one on the coaching staff see how high up the lift was? No one questioned if it was safe with the high winds? I don’t believe that for a second.

I think it’s faggy to comment on another man’s grammar on a football forum. Why the hell would a straight man do that?

I 100% agree, but back in the day it only applied to one wife.

Hence the issue.
The video crew was supervised by the athletic department themselves and not the coaches.

I’ll assume you are right about that and concede that point.
However, you didn’t address the other issue. No one on the coaching staff or support staff noticed the lift 40 feet in the air under a high wind advisory?

The coach is responsible for making the call where to have practice take place. Like I mentioned a few posts up, the bad weather in that region was a headline at the time and BK was absolutely aware of the poor conditions, and still requested outdoor practice and for everyone to continue as normal, that of course included the video coordination crew.
There were several exposés published on it, though this one distilled the info down really well.
(Sorry, had to edit and fix the link)
Of course ND’s PR team worked overtime, but there’s no way in hell Kelly didn’t know it was risky. Again, it’s not like he intended for that to happen, but people trying to claim he had zero responsibility for practice being outdoors aren’t being honest.

Sure he didn't, but having practice outdoors wasn't the issue.
The kid being on the lift was.
None of the other lifts toppled that day.

With how disconnected he was at LSU, it wouldn't surprise me if he was completely unaware. Probably some CYA as well.
The staffers assigned to monitor the weather were also using old information.

That depends. Is it a word you know and use enough to say it in common conversation?
If it’s something you took time out of your day to contemplate so that you can have the illusion of appearing smart on a sports forum you are gay as frick.

No clue, that's the video coordinator's responsibility.
The coaches were busy with their players.
