Honestly, LSU doesn't have the deep pockets like A&M. BK will be here4 four more years before LSU even considers buying him out for poor performance. If I were y'all, I wouldn't let fans rile me up. If you make a splash hire with a proven coach, success may follow. That's all that matters. You truly should be happy about the firing because it was long overdue. For the $$$$ you have AND was paying, Jimbo grossly under-performed.
The fact that he was fired the way it happened, I honestly think they already have their guy. They are probably just waiting until the bowl season to make the announcement. It's probably a mutual agreement so as not to distract the performance of his current team's players.
