I just figure if they haven't called it on him in all the time he's been doing it, why now? He did in Arkansas, LSU, USCe, etc.

One classless thing I did see was #24 from Auburn (idk who that is) jumping around after the game, giving the throat slashing gesture to the whole student section.
I observed a pretty classless move on the part of some Alabama dude who stomped on Newton's calf when he was down.

No, it's not similar to Gilbert at all. Gilbert was thrown into the fire very early on into the game and had plenty of time to develop. McCarron came into the game with 65 seconds left.
Yes, but still a shitty situation

and fairley didnt do NEAR the celebrating he has done in earlier games and they havent called it either..

I think they were itching to flag Fairley though, after the shite he pulled in the UGA game.

I thought that was funny, and wasn't threatening at all. Just poking fun.
So you really thought the throat slashing gesture was threatening. Your reaching a little there.

You need to watch the replay. TV will clarify some things.

yes..you may have a point there bro..

The refs were pulling for you more than the SEC rant was. I guess we added another group to the Auburn success butthurt group.

It just really seemed like we pissed away the game. I hate McElwain so much. His playcalling is ridiculous. Not saying I could do better, but I'm sure we could find someone who would actually utilize the talent that he has. Because apart from QB, we are extremely talented on offense.

I'm not butthurt. Y'all won.
It's a football game.

I thought that hit on McElroy could have been flagged too.
For what, pulling him down by his jersey sleeve?
You do know they play tackle football in college, not two hand touch, right?

He picked him up, spun around and slammed him down.

Goddamn dude. You seriously need to be quiet until you watch the replay.

that call shouldn't have been made against fairley or anyone else. terrible call.

Pretty impressive considering Bell was falling down, Ginger was standing flatfooted, and Ginger outweighs Bell by 40 pounds.

It's just how I saw it in the stands. Jesus, did I not already clarify that? Maybe it looked different on the replay, but that's what I saw.
Posted on 11/26/10 at 7:46 pm to alabamabuckeye
Not trying to be an arse to you (this time). Just watch the replay when you can.
Posted on 11/26/10 at 7:46 pm to alabamabuckeye
I'm guessing it looked different in the stands too.
Fans tend to see what they want to see, regardless of what actually happens.
