No troll attempt, just stating an opinion shared by the unfortunate people that has ever traveled to that cesspool.

Would rather watch a sport my kids and grandkids have a chance of actually playing in college. THATs what I like about college baseball.

I would hate the off season to Bama if your entire school athletics and your only good at one of them.

One of them brought in an average revenue of $25Mil per week to the state.

One of them makes about the same amount of revenue nationally as women's basketball.

Collegiate baseball is trash.

Unlike you, my life doesn't revolve around sports. So it really isn't as bad as you might think.

At least it keeps one or two states happy before the inevitable November (or in South Carolina's case - September) football collapse.

LSU is going to go into Bama and kick their arse in football this year anyway so why be so amped for football?

And BTW if Bama was even as half as good as LSU at baseball your fans would be shite talking up a storm like you were gods of everything, just sit down and shut the frick up for 4 more days a-hole. Oh and

Give me a break. If you don't want to discuss football then don't open the thread arse hole. There are plenty of threads about baseball to participate in without you showing up to shite all over this one.

If your school was decent in more than one sport, the offseason seems a lot shorter.

Tiger and Gator fans won't be missing football until Thursday.

Wow

From a bama fan where they self proclaim the only sport is college football, and it is more important than life itself

Last time I checked, LSU has stayed consistently a top 5 recruiting class in football, and competes for the SEC as Bamas biggest contender every year. Also won 2 National Championships in the past 14 years and 4 SEC Titles, I wouldn't say that it irrelevant, it's not Bamas level for football, but it's something that we have that not even the mighty Bama can take from us. No matter how much you try to deny it, the gap between LSU vs Bama in terms of talent in football isn't very far apart, and timing is everything, our slump will soon come to an end and we will beat Bama and it will be a glorious day, and some of your fans will be on suicide watch. Will it be this year? Or next year? Who knows, but it will happen soon...

Lsu is a middle of the road SEC west team. And with the hiring of ogre, will have to fight to stay there.

Dont kid yourself, walk around tuscaloosa and bama campus on game weekend when lsu is in town.

I have been to bamas campus for quite a few opponents, it is far from a middle of road game
