Jordan-Hare or "Jurden Heyuhr" as they say in East Alabama regularly makes lists of the best gameday atmospheres and most intimidating places to play. Of course, it never comes in first because we all know who does. I've heard so much about how Auburn is going to destroy LSU, but most of the reasoning has to do with the game being played in this stadium. If LSU is so inferior to Auburn, why does it matter where they are going to play?

Neither team has a great offense (Auburn getting the nod) and both teams have great defenses (LSU getting the nod). If LSU can keep the score out of the 20's then they have a real chance. I think LSU's defense will step up and win another close one against Auburn 16-13.

LSU has won there once since 2009 and that was a 12-10 barn burner against the worst team in Auburn history

Jordan Hare is a tough place to play for any team and Auburn should win this game by 7-9 points.

Auburn offense is far superior to LSU's and the defenses are about as equal as you can get

I guess making fun of the pronunciation of a war hero's last name is a thing for LSU fans. Guessing you voted for Hillary....

Jordan Hare is a tougher environment to play in than Tiger Stadium.

Pretty sure the actual pronunciation is not "Heyuhr". So no I was not making fun of how the war hero's name is actually pronounced only how Auburn fans choose to pronounce it. If you want to talk about taking it too far saying I voted for Hillary did it.

Why would a LSU fan have an issue with any pronunciations? I mean seriously?

That was 2012.

LSU has won 8 of the last 11 against Auburn, all three losses on the road (2010, 2014, 2016). 2010 was Cam Newton's Heisman game between two pretty evenly matched teams, 2014 was the year of the Brandon Harris experiment and LSU was never going to win (our worst team in recent history), and LSU was 0.5 seconds away from winning in 2016 with a pretty mediocre team.

History shows that in the last 10+ years, Auburn has exactly one convincing win over LSU (2014) and Brandon Harris isn't walking through the door. If historical trends mean anything in college football, this game won't be the cake-walk for Auburn that most here think it will be despite its location.

I’ve never understood the odd pronunciation of Jordan-Hare because it doesn’t make grammatical/spelling sense to me, however, if that is how the namesake pronounced it, I give it a pass.

I think you guys are making more out of it being in JHS than the Auburn fans are. Most of the threads are started by you guys. Most of us feel that we have a better team right now and I think most of the sports world will agree.

Lets face it. We were a better team last year and in 2013 when you guys won so your logic does play both ways. The best team does not always win. That could be brought into play this year but we will just have to see.

Right now, I think we are a TD better than LSU and that seems to be pretty agreed upon by everyone.
