That's the biggest thing, nobody really thinks they will be in the bottom 4 of the league this year except maybe Vandy folks
But someone has to be down there
Yep - and honestly most teams have pretty decent arguments for their upside. Some are more volatile than others purely due to unpredictability from roster or coaching turnover, but I think most of the league could make a decent argument at why they'll be a tournament team.
And that's why the league is so much fun now.

VF30 - with rosters basically set now, any shot you can run your KenPom copycat formula and see what it shoots out for 2019-20?

LOL lawd, I didn't realize that. Grad transfers and a couple late recruiting signings going to fill them?

Lots of different possibilities but yes I would bet on 1 immediate transfer then maybe 1 sit out guy (Transfer or freshman to redshirt).
The big land would be N'Faly Dante reclassifying to 2019 but sounds like he's leaning to stay into 2020 for now. We're searching for a true big/rim protector.
Marshall Graves Wade said yesterday at this point he expects to keep his scholarship which would be the 3rd of those 3. He got Wayde Sims' scholarship after his death prior to last season. Former walk on.
We only played 8 true scholarship guys last season really. Kingsby redshirted, Edwards was out with injury, Hyatt was redshirting and Cooper was redshirting. So basically left us with 8 true scholarship players most of the season.

Alabama, Arkansas and A&M seem like the biggest wildcards with new coaches on the block

I like certain parts we have added but we are going to be a fairly small at our 4 and 5 spots during certain points. Our PG is going to be our worst shooter on the floor in some lineups

It doesnt matter who UK signs because as long as Calipari is there they will always underachieve. How is UK ahead of LSU? Didnt they destroy UK last season?

Am I the only one who actually likes Xavier Pinson's game? Auburn fan here but I think that kid can be a player.

Hes very talented, yet probably wont be a starter for another 2 years. guard depth is in great shape(knock on wood)

A goal tending non call at the buzzer is destroying Kentucky? Lulz, this team is the most experienced that Cal has ever had while at UK.

You mean his least talented team at UK. Not good enough for the NBA so they had to come back.

I like Bamas Roster but defense/rebounding worries me. Dont know how good we will be at that.
As long as we look smarter and play harder I will be happy with year 1 from Oats.

You mean a good thing for Auburn. Speaking of, how are the compared to LSU, TU, and UK?

I actually think Calipari having a more seasoned roster will be good for UK.
I suspect Auburn will be a bubble team throughout the season -- which is the new floor for AU's program. Losing 5 KEY contributors including the starting backcourt is not generally a good thing so I think Auburn struggles a bit early and hopefully finds some rhythm as the year goes on. I could see AU finishing 6th in the conference.
I think LSU and UK will be better than AU this year. I hope AU smacks UT again and extends the 2 year/3 game win streak but could see a split in the series. I think AU finishes above UT in the standings.

Just ran it and experimented a little bit with Blackshear. Safe to say wherever he goes will be preseason top 4 in the league.
Will post results after he announces.
