Tennessee is a premier job. Why don't y'all go after Dabo or Chris Petersen or somebody like that? Or better yet, steal Chip Kelly from Florida.

Today’s recruits were 3 years old when Gruden won the superbowl.

Next year’s recruits were 2 when Gruden won a superbowl.

I think people are overstating how much of a recruiting bump Gruden would have.

Gruden also doesn’t have experience with having only 15 hours a week with your players, he is used to having full time employees. Totally different game.

I think players would want to play for Tennessee just because of Gruden being there. I think the first couple years would be good, kinda like Michigan with Harbaugh, then they plateau and they have a boring program again. If Gruden can manage to avoid that, then more power to him

it's funny how people cant comprehend something reasonable like this.

Gruden is being hired as a CEO. Marketing. He'll just need to walk on a hs campus, and he'll be all over twitter from kids at the school taking pics with him. The guy is famous dogg.

The coordinators hired will be what needs to be judged. Pretty simple.

If all done right..he gets coordinators that can keep Ws on the field Gruden could call recruits from his office, and pretty much have a soft commit by end of call just to get him to visit. Not even saban has NFL connections that Gruden has. That alone could have him in top 5 lists of his choice. (Yes this is extreme....but seriously totally impossible?? Think about it yall)

He will have elite QBs every year. Every HS QB watches Gruden's QB Camp every year on ESPN. That will make him competitive every year.

Has he ever recruited a high school football player in his life?

Wouldn't he really be recruiting their parents since they are the only ones who would be old enough in the situation to remember him being a coach and winning a superbowl with Dungy's team?

Kinda hard to win there if you never coach there.
