That's not what everyone has claimed for the past 15+ years.
SoS is what got fricked today. There is no reason to play tough regular season games anymore.
Take Alabama out of the equation completely. USC and Ole Miss also got fricked and have a bunch of teams ahead of them who shouldn't be.

Both Ole Miss and USC are getting screwed over as well.
There is no reason why teams like Boise St, Clemson, SMU and Indiana should be ranked ahead of them.
I'm pretty sure both Ole Miss and USC have more wins against ranked teams than all 4 of them combined.

Not being taken seriously as a competitive program would drive me crazy, and honestly I could never go backwards now and become a team that gets left out of a playoff because of 2 losses.
