I will not begrudge the boy for partying it up a bit...he is after all a college student.
HOWEVER...Johnny is not your average college student by any means--he is the leader and current popular face of the aTm football team. Once an athlete attains a certain level of achievement (Heisman for example), they are held to, whether they like it or not, a higher standard for responsibility, maturity, and leadership.
While he may believe he can balance the off field social life with the on field performance, he may be neglecting the fact that he is the leader of that squad. Many of his teammates look up to him. His behaviors MAY set an example for younger players who may not be able to balance the on/off field relationship.
Hopefully he will realize that sooner than later as he is one hell of a QB.

Come on man...how much can a person really party in the offseason and maintain peak athletic condition? Answer? Not very much at all. Manziel is in for a tumble, and A&M's going with him. That has all of you guys scared. If you aren't, you should be. I sure as hell would be.
Manziel is not normal.

Just because we see him partying all the time does not mean the dude is out 5 nights a week get hammered. I think he'll be fine

Anyone who gets kicked out of a camp where they are supposed to be a counselor for "being sick" then goes out when he gets back to College Station has a problem.

Pride comes before the fall. The dude is an amazing talent. He also shows a surprising lack of maturity. Go out and party is fine, I never thought anything he did was too bad until this. But to disrespect the people that came before you is not ok IMO. It is certainly not something my father would have been proud to see me do.

Getting removed from the camp was stupid and I'm sure embarrassing, but I don't think JFF has a problem. Just my humble opinion.

He seems to think this as well. The sad part for him (and you) is that he is, in fact, normal. His body functions the same as any other 20 year old's. I'm thinking the escapability he exhibited last year will be diminished.

Sex, perks, a degree, a Heisman and hopefully a national title as well.

Let see:
Broke Archie's Record as fresh
Eli No Heisman JFF as Fresh
Peyton No Heisman JFF as Fresh
whipped Ole Miss arse
No reason whatsoever Archie would treat him differently.
Surprised LSU hasn't jumped in with Archie kina being known a a dick.

Which means he should be capable of getting drunk and winning football games.

If he leaves without bringing you a title. Will you wish he had maybe focused a little bit more on improving as a player.

Most football players who party as much as him wash up, man. Just ask Justin Vincent. Put on weight, lose a step, there goes your game. Don't be surprised when all the A&M fans are like "Where's the old Johnny?"

I have little doubt Manzil did or said something that caused them to ask him to leave. I accept and admit that he is a dick. I just don't care.

Nope. Other 20 year olds didn't win Heismans.

Based on what? Hope? His escapability has gotten better with every game he's played.

Make stupid comments, get stupid responses.
I'm just talking down to my audience.
