It was actually for failure to identify. The other charges he had for possessing a fake ID and disorderly were dropped.

Brazos County Attorney Rod Anderson said that as part of the plea agreement, the other Class B misdemeanor charge filed against Manziel — possessing a fake driver's license — was dismissed. Too, the 20-year-old's Class C misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct by fighting was dismissed by the city in municipal court.

What happened to the days where the Heisman was only to be awarded to plyers with high moral character? I think it has gone down hill in the past few years. Manziel is full of himself, and usually people like that are headed for a big fall. He does whatever he wants, and people write it off, because he's young. Then grow up and be a man, and take the punishment like anyone else would have to. He did not deserve the Heisman, because it is an honorable award, and he does not even appreciate it, and should not be in the same company as those other MEN that have been given this award.

Heisman winners might not all look the same to you if they all dealt with social media. Thinking because you never saw a guy one day in his life except on the field means they all acted like that off the field is an absurd assumption.

How about Ricky Williams - hmm known pot smokers quits on team and moves into a tent in Bangthaicock somewhere and smokes weed.

Oh I know, just gotta throw MI some love.
And Project Pat, don't give up on Ingram just yet. I think SP likes him a lot and he would have had a much better year last year had SP been able to coach. This is definitely the year he has to do something though. But IMO an early career injury, and the coaching problems last year have hindered him to this point. I would also like to see him get worked into the screen game a little more as that was such a big part of his game at Alabama.
