He totally stole that from Cam Newton. Which, Cam Newton looked way more boss doing it than Manziel ever with.

. You do realize he was doing all this same shite last year and the year before that, right? Obviously he's got something figured out fitness-wise.

this is the best part that no one here understands. He partied his balls off last summer, got arrested, then went out and won the Heisman Trophy

Knowing what I know now, no. Sure, if you asked me a year ago before I realized how much pub he could bring I'd have agreed. As long as he wins, I don't care what he does and honestly watching his rustle jimmies at a previously unprecedented rate is a nice little bonus.

Agree. But history shows us that in many cases, it usually does.

Let me break it down, since evidently no one has figured it out yet. It's rather simple, really.

A large portion of A&M fans think JFF is a douchebag.

A moderate portion of A&M fans think JFF is an embarrassment.

A small number think he's awesome and root for each new tweet and news story which comes out.

All these fans have one thing in common: they all root for JFF. That's what fans do. Thinking he's a douchebag and/or an embarrassment and rooting for him are not mutually exclusive.

The problem, if applicable, will come in when/if he starts dropping ballgames. He's got the support of the A&M fanbase solely by virtue of the fact that he wins. He's not a likeable guy.

If he stops winning, and no one likes him... well... I don't need to fill in the blanks.

Yet another thing Manziel will kindly ask you to deal with in your own time

You mean like he went from a good player to the best player in CFB between LSU and OU?

Wow you guys have an entire revisionist narrative outlined, don't you? And you question my intelligence.

Take a look at his passer rating for the LSU game (82.48). That's quite the outlier compared to the rest of his games (next lowest is 124.41) - whether in the beginning or end of the season his QB ratings for non LSU opponents were more similar than his QB rating against LSU.

In other words, the LSU game was significantly worse than any other game he played. But don't let facts get in the way of your silly little story.

I guess it is just a different mindset. I would prefer an Alabama player to represent the university with class and respect.

We. Don't. Care.

If he's winning, I want him to keep doing exactly what he was doing before. Others want him to change now that he's become famous.

Y'all have your thugs, too. And your boys party it up. They're college kids.

And their are PLENTY of other Aggies both on the team now and in the NFL who fit the mold you're talking about. Manziel's personality is just that--his.

What he is doesn't detract from what guys like Von Miller, Dat Nguyen and John David Crow have already done and continue to do for our university.

Nobody, A&M fan or otherwise, outside of a small segment of LSU fans who define their whole season by beating JFF disagrees with my sentiment.

He went from an awesome athlete making great plays with his legs to the best quarterback in the game over the course of the season. He was making throws against OU that had never made before when we played LSU. I'm sorry if this upsets you.
