He doesn't have to talk about them at all. If he wanted to answer then he could have said

JFF - "yes, i had some drinks the night before"

Reporter - "Who were you with, how did you get it"

JFF - "I am here to talk about myself not anyone else"

Reporter wouldn't have asked that question anyway. Again I was just saying how he sounded in the interview i saw. I don't care how he answered the question.

But that's pretty much the point. If he was drinking (and I'd be surprised if he wasn't) then somebody bought if for him, right? That's a crime. I'm pretty sure it's a more serious crime than underage drinking. I don't see how he could do anything but refuse to answer w/o screwing somebody, possibly including your QB.

This guy gets it.

1. JFF was clearly drinking
2. JFF is 20
3. The drinking age is 21 (Thanks MADD!)
4. If JFF says he was drinking a million other questions arise
5. Thus, JFF won't -- and shouldn't -- acknowledge any imbibing.

Here in the real world, we all know JFF was drinking. Hopefully he got some arse too.

Been in and out of the music board and MSB. Starting to get the CFB itch again.

This, it was a smart move by Sumlin actually. JFF wasn't going to say anything to cause problems. Sumlin making Johnny go answer the questions shows he is for accountability and sends a better message.

I'm glad it wasn't an Aggie to post this. Somebody else gets it. It was good to make him face the fire, and although I've been very critical of him in the offseason I thought he did very well.
