apparently he found out his brother's death just before the 'smile' comment the other day. Makes me feel bad mocking him.

Nah - it's his job. If you are going to hell (for this), we'll all pretty much be there too.

Well, he did get $850,000. That's nice, considering he was down to $500 in his checking account.

i really want to cry- i've been feeling bad for him anyway. he may be silly and not a great coach but he seems like a very nice man. and nobody, outside of sandusky, deserves the hell that the press (espn in particular) has given jls this week.

Someone needs to hide all the sharp objects and shoelaces from him. He looked, hindsight being 20/20, like he was on the verge going all "Falling Down" on everyone.

I agree with you Latarian. The guy seems likable. A little crazy but likable. Really everything seems to be going south, the bankruptcy, the last 2 games, and now this death. I hope he pulls through and really wish you all the best of luck for the entire season till we meet. Really do feel for the guy and hope that things get turned around for the better in his life.

Do any of you Hogs know what the plan for coaching will be for tomorrow?

Who would be the HC?

Is he staying there?

Maybe he needs some time to grieve. He should take 3 months.

Damn. That's dedication.

Give the dude a bonus. Make his contract an even $1 mill or something. Sunhog has the trouser to cover it.

T&P for this poor guy.
