The rant is almost a full time job for me. I usually spend most of the day on it. I wish I got paid for this.

This. What Clothe said was spot on. There were definitely a shite-ton of homers [mostly HV types] who thought that we wouldn't miss a beat.

I'll admit, I thought we would win eight to nine games last year, because I thought that even a moron could coach that team to eight or nine wins. Problem is...a moron would have been an improvement over Johnelle.

Part of the problem was the timing at which Petrino got fired. There was no real option to come in and take the job, so I think Jeff Long made the move both to buy him some time and to make it look like he's not just promoting interim coaches. I would have rather had an interim coach tbh.

Another thing, while I am excited about Bielema, I don't know if he's going to be a better coach than Petrino. Yes Petrino had his faults, but every coach does. Petrino was hands down a top 5 coach in the country. Obviously the jury is still out, but I'm still taking a wait and see approach. That being said, I'm very impressed with what Bielema has done on the recruiting front.

This Kentucky fan has poured blood, sweat, and tears on the football field and knows more about what it takes to make a solid football team than you'll ever know.

I don't dislike Bielema, but I think Petrino is a better coach. I can't think of that many coaches that I would say are better than him.

Bobby Petrino was an excellent coach. One of the beat one field I have ever seen, however he wasn't a superb recruiter and his staff was mediocre at best (Jessica says otherwise...). 2Bs will be better overall I think because he has a much better staff...we will see if I'm right in a couple years.

As to the OP and the supposition that UK football is better than Arkansas football, didn't our shite tastic idiot for a temp destroy your actual coach on the field this past year? 49-7 with more than a whole quarter left when Zeus decided to call the game??? And you make fun of the issue we corrected ...
