If he had evidence, he should have released it to the NCAA, otherwise he's impeding the investigation.

Who's to say he didn't turn over the evidence to the NCAA?

All this is beside the point though, it's clear the NCAA is building a case against Auburn (for way more than just Cam Newton) and they will come down on Auburn eventually. It's coming, no doubt. Even if the NCAA can't tie Auburn to Newton, it's pretty reasonable to think the NCAA will have Auburn under a microscope until they eventually find something.

If the NCAA had it do you think they'd let him go rouge and give it to a radio station?

If he had, he would be keeping his mouth shut at this point. The investigation is still in progress.

Did the NCAA get an HRT team that would swoop in and keep him from doing anything?

Well, if there are tapes, they most certainly don't "belong" to the NCAA. They have no power whatsoever as it pertains to Bond and his actions. He can do what he wants with the tapes if they indeed do exist.

No matter what you think the NCAA is not law enforcement.

I'm pretty sure they can be taken via subpoena.

I don't know if AU and Tenn were involved in a bidding war, but the part that makes me laugh is when he claims Kenny tells MSU that he has offers from AU and Tenn, but he will give them a discount..

Anyone ever tried to buy a car or a house or anything of value? Has anyone ever met a salesman who didn't have another buyer lined up, but might be able to do something special because he liked you and your family?

It's Sales 101. Why would you pay X for something if you don't think anyone else is willing to pay? You don't talk money when you are soliciting, you talk money only after you have an interested buyer.

The NCAA can not force someone to testify or subpoena evidence. They can investigate all they want but nobody has to speak with them. That is why it is damn hard for them to prove a major violation.

He's right the NCAA doesn't have subpoena power
