At some point people will see that some idiot alabama fan did not hear a tape that happened to include a bidding war between Tennessee and Auburn. It sounds pretty clear that this jackass made this up.

Nobody should believe a word out of Cecil's mouth, but the fact that we never offered Cam a scholarship makes us offering to pay seem pretty unlikely. But who knows with our luck lately we will get the death penalty and Auburn will walk.

I agree. The guy has lost credibility. If he had evidence, he should have released it to the NCAA, otherwise he's impeding the investigation. Circumventing the process and advertising his intent makes him look like a self-serving idiot.

Don't care, play the tapes or shut the hell up. Glad to know he trusts a guy with a 10 watt radio show to have his back against the national media. 
I'm sure when the media runs his life up the flagpole, Scott Moore will be the lone voice in the wilderness that everyone runs to to hear John Bond's side of things.

does anybody really believe that auburn fans aren't scared as hell what might end up coming out about Cam and the Aub football program?
I think notwithstanding the plethora of message board heros, most sentient auburn fans are preparing for bad news.
This much smoke usually means bad things are a comin'.

The NCAA investigated UT's side to see if an offer was made and could find nothing to back up Rogers' statement. The NCAA determined what likely happened was Cecil and Rogers were shaking down MSU, with Rogers being the primary party but Cecil getting benefits. The only thing new to the NCAA would be the fact that the people are now saying Cam was in the room, I assume hearing his voice or his father talking with him.

While I agree that most fan bases would behave rationally, this is Auburn your talking about. The entire awbarn fambly have had their collective heads in the sand since this whole thing started so there's no reason for them (THE ENTIRE AWBARN FAMBLY) to get reasonable now.

If it is soemthing new, which I'm doubtful, I am as well. I know MSU has informed Rogers to STFU repeatedly so I wonder why he's stirring things up again.
