That last part of your post is the reason it should start and remain at 40. More than that is too much

Kind of hard for shitholes like Memphis and Baton Rouge to go up when it’s already astronomical, yet they did.

Nashville is one of the safest cities in the SEC foot print.

Plus you lied to the board for years claiming to be a trainer for LSU

What we had was great. Name a more fun college football time than from 98-2014. But the money just got too big and the schools and conferences too greedy

I can’t see the SEC dropping charter members. But the Missouri’s, A&Ms, etc. Yeah. It could happen

Bye bye Vandy, Kentucky Miss. schools and Arky

Soon football conferences will hardly resemble other sport conferences.

Supposedly if at least 2/3 of the SEC wants to kick someone out then they can do it. That's interesting if true.

Vandy stays, they're the only private school and every conference needs one for FOIA.
Moo St would be the first to go.

Their violent crime rate is higher than Atlanta (which is a "shithole" according to so many experts on here).

Baseball isn’t close to being a big 3 sport.

Football
Basketball
Women’s basketball
Softball
Baseball

It can, and will, happen. it will be an economic necessity.

The clock is ticking for mizzou, a&m and arkie. They have a 3-4 year window. Being a school without a national title in the modern era of football in either the SEC or the B1G will be a very dangerous situation. When we go to 2 super-conferences of 22 - 24 teams, schools like that will logically need to be upgraded.

That FOIA doesn’t mean shite with big money tv contracts for football. Y’all aren’t grasping the concept that football will operate as it own governing sport

Those schools will still thrive if they go back to a non-NIL system but have a system where players get some money

No one can go back to a non-NIL system my guy. The Supreme Court decided that it’s the athlete’s legal right to make money off of themselves

Why would Vandy be kicked out before Moo St?

What you guys don’t seem to understand is that if conferences start to kick teams out in search of more money, then it will never stop. We’ll end up with one conference of the 30 or so biggest schools. Most teams will be left out and that includes most of the teams in the SEC.

You can drop your worst programs but then you’re just making the tier above them the programs that finish at the bottom

I was thinking the same thing. Somebody will be on the bottom. No matter how many teams you drop from the bottom.

But not UF.

Your recent record against Arkansas and other SEC teams says you’ll be on the chopping block before you even enter the conference if that’s your line of thinking.

Your delusions of grandeur are unwarranted.

Maybe not UF but maybe. What if there is a mega conference of only 16 teams. If it’s a nationwide conference then UF could very well get left out
