Good get, but no. Not even close. 4 star out of high school and couldn't break through at OSU and you're calling him the best in the SEC why?

Because we're White Transfer QBU

Judging by recent history Burrow could absolutely shite the bed against 11 teams but throw for 300+ yards against aTm

So you're saying he does bad in 11 games? Yikes

Maybe. But even Manzeil couldn’t help A&M beat LSU so, that’s one guaranteed win for us.

I think he means that he doesn't play well in the games that matter even a little bit.

He wasn't the 3rd string QB.

He was the backup to a starter who broke multiple conference records last season. There's nothing to knock there. Burrow got injured, so when JT got hurt, Haskins had to go in. He performed well and earned sort of the edge heading into this Spring.

Burrow very much has looked like a #1 in the reps/practice/and both Spring games.. which is more than any of LSU's current QBs.

He would have been behind Haskins if in fact Haskins won the job.. but not 3rd. Tate's passing is not there.. although he may get running packages..

Why make that the narrative.

If you want to hate on LSU, then be excited he might actually be worth one or two more games.. therefore extending the O experiment.

I'll just be rooting for LSU to have as much success as possible.

Then why is he transferring? I don't get it. Either Meyer doesn't know how to evaluate his QBs all of a sudden or this guy isn't quite the player he's being made out to be. This doesn't really make much sense.

Good get hopefully he does just well enough to extend Orgeron a couple more years. I’ll drink to that!

My fears exactly.

But it would be worth it if he can help us win the SEC... 7 years is way too long.

What’s hard to understand about it? He feels like he should be starting and that he has done enough to prove it. He’s making the move now to maximize the two years he has to get the attention of the nfl. If he’s all he’s cracked up to be, LSU is a great place for him to plug right into a talented sec roster. It is possible to accomplish everything he ever wanted at LSU(assuming he is motivated by playing in massive games against top flight opponents on national tv, having a path to the playoffs, and the opportunity to meet Ohio state again this season) don’t think much, if any of that would be possible this season at cincy.

He's won games as a true freshman.

Do you have a QB on roster that's won a single game?

Congrats. Every LSU quarterback I can remember has won a game, It’s not that hard. Winning the big games is what separates them.

Who is the last A&M QB to win an LSU game?

It makes perfect sense when you have two NFL-caliber position players on your roster but can play only one.

Good luck. Maybe you actually score a point on Bama this year.
