For LSU, assuming A&M is a lock, I'd like:

A&M, Florida, ...

Bama for big game, or
Ole Miss for tradition

I'd also be happy with MSU or Arky.

Tough call. LSU has much more of rivalry over the years with teams other than A&M. When I think of LSU traditional rivals, A&M is pretty far down the list. Certainly after Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida, Alabama and Arkansas. Even Mississippi State arguably.

Bama is gonna have Auburn, UT and State if they go the 3 route. I can more than guarantee you that.

You really think the REC doesn't have Bama playing Vandy as a "rivalry" game?

Vandy of course...REC already locked the Commodores into a 75 year contract.

With 3 slots, I think you can pretty much guarantee that each school will at minimum get their number one choice for who their biggest and most important game in the conference is even if that isnt reciprocated.

Georgia - South Carolina is a lock, because thats going to be South Carolina's biggest conference rivalry game.

What even is that website?

South Carolina left an entire conference because of hatred of North Carolina and what they were doing. I didn't outright disagree that UGA is 2nd, just that it's not as simple of an answer as you might think.

Lots of natural history with UNC, not just "they border and we need headlines! rivalry!"

In the jungle, the new alpha goes directly to the current alpha and challenges him. We want Bama so we can show the SEC we're the new kings.

Yeah, but 90% of your fan base sold out to hating the Aggies.

You need to sit down and STFU. You are now the property of The University of Arkansas. You are our bitch now. Just be glad you have a seat at the table and keep your mouth shut.

How is this "a slip"...the debate was 1 or 3 perms. By saying the 3 perms names DOESN'T mean that's the path chosen.

You're correct, CNB. I am old enough to remember the ACC days for South Carolina and their great dislike for UNC.

The ACC was always prejudiced against SCar and in favor of the NC schools. SCar had had enough and decided to get out and they did.

For UGA, I'm strongly in favor of us having Florida, Auburn and South Carolina for our permanent three.

True, but the 1-7 eliminates DSOR, so which path to take?
