I said a poster accused Jameis of being a rapist which was covered up to win the Heisman. And? Show me a big time program that doesn't have some players in legal trouble. You're reaching now, deflecting because the facts defeat you badly.

No, you were throwing rocks behind a glass barrier. Calling Newton Scam about his AU recruiting, now trying to do the backstep because someone reminded you of recent history.

You've got a ton of patience...the only group of people in the world that think Auburn's the better job are the Auburn people....and deflection is their expertise.

I guess if you must do something over and over, you eventually get good at it.

I see I see...the delusion is incredible. Poor folks, they really think their program is amongst the elite.

Let's count the number of big time coaches they've hired since they started their decade long parade of coaches...ummmm.

They can believe whatever they want, while on their way to YET ANOTHER mediocre season. Elite program tho...right.

I don't know what was inside Jimbo's brain but maybe he was thinking about the next season when Bama played OSU. The Buckeyes run a HUNH and lots of run-pass-option plays. Maybe he figures that Bama should have beaten OSU that game? I don't know. If he meant that, I can see his point. But a team like Bama should NEVER blow a 21-6 lead. Since that game, I don't think they have blown a double digit lead. See gumps. Good things can come from a loss like that. Now go ahead and lose another game this year so you can have a teachable moment. And maybe Tennessee or A&M can be the SEC championship so the rest of the country is not pissed that the gumpers are back in the playoff.

Auburn is in that 2nd tier with teams like UCLA and Texas A&M.

They are, and it's because they yo-yo so hard. If Auburn had any consistency they'd be top tier. Tubberville had an undefeated season, thin slid and got fired. Malzahn won a Natty with a transcendent player, then completely fell apart and got fired. Gus made it to the Natty with his gimmick trickeration offense then lost the one guy who could run it while DCs figured his tricks out and now he sucks too.

The truth is that they've run out of money to throw at these high school coaches and recycled defensive coordinators/head coaches, only to fire them and have to keep on paying them.
I suspect old Gus is safe in spite of the fact that he can't score a TD against his own scout team.

At least we're not stupid enough to still have all of them on our payroll!
