We beat the frick out of Mac Brown's team in the bowl

Lol wut?

You were in a dogfight with them for most of the game.

They finished 4th in the ACC, a conference that went winless in bowl season.

You also played them without most of their best players yet it was still a dogfight.

Then, who was #4?

Top 3
Alabama
Ohio State
Clemson

Next 5
Georgia
Oklahoma
Texas A&M
Florida
Notre Dame

But I do think that is largely due to the schedule and the weird year. It is hard to explain it honestly. You played more SEC games, and the teams were worse.. or maybe that is my point after all.

The genius that is the SEC schedule makes some teams look better than they are.. and some worse than they really are..

If we’re discussing hypotheticals and last season I’ll add this.

OU beat a Florida team whose team was not at full strength. They actually competed with Bama in the championship game.

Wow imagine dick riding a rival for moral victories. I guess you’ll grasp at anything when you lose to the Kansas, Iowa States of the world.

A&M had the top defense in the SEC, and top ten nationally last season. I have no doubt in my mind A&M would run the ball down Texas/OU throats and make you quit.

I am trying to have an actual football discussion here Richard. This is not a Texas vs A&M pissing contest, so kindly move on down the road.

lol coming back to read some of these aggie takes is priceless. No way they’d spend $77 million just to fire a coach simply due to being jealous of a much more successful school down the road, right?
