Jimbo effect is real but he is far from fielding a great team. They are tougher, way better on defense, and shedding the big 12 soft label. But it’ll take 2-3 recruiting classes to shore up the OLine, linebacker depth, and dB depth.
One thing jimbo does have is smarts and game planning. You hold the ball 35+ minutes, keep 3 and outs on offense to a minimum, and play field position game and it will hide the glaring deficiencies at WR, OL, and the back 7
