DVH will get his one day. Took Bianco over 20 years and he eventually got it and I think DVH is a better coach than Bianco.

from recent memory...

#3 national seed and bounced from regionals by TCU
then bounced again by SEMO from your own regional

More like Eric Cole. That was Cole's ball. He should've called off Shaddy.

What's the thought on how long DVH will coach? I see he'll be 65 this fall?

Nebraska would take him back even if he was 95. He took Nebraska, not exactly a baseball powerhouse, to the World Series. Yeah, we'd take him back.

How many strikeouts/runs given up did DVH have in those games? All he can do is fill out the lineup card the same way he has all year to get to that point. If the players don't perform that's on them.

Same as Carson Shaddy wanting to be a glory hound isn't DVH choking.

Yeah, there was no calling Shaddy off of that ball. He wanted to be the hero.

LSU’s last national championship was won and Skenes didn’t throw a single pitch in the championship series.

I didn't know that. I just assumed he won one of them.

Hell no. State was the hottest and best team in the country. State beat #4 Vandy 13-2 and 9-0 to win the championship, including a 1-hitter. Beat #2 Texas twice to get there. State would have beaten Unranked NC State easily.

All that closer Matt Cronin had to do was throw one strike and they would be national champs.

He did throw a strike. It hasn’t landed yet.

Both of those teams were almost dead last in SEC hitting statistics and had lack of pitching depth.
