This is America. We love to build people up and then tear them down. It's sad, but true. Happens with celebrities all the time. Will happen with JFF. I'd be lying if I said I won't enjoy watching.

now, yes, i'm sure you're right but in the beginning it wasn't that way. like i sai, you all had (have) every right to be excited about him as he's a great player but there's always gonna be people tired and annoyed by it.

Like this one?
I also think it is hilarious how anyone views this as "anger issues". I just take it in to perspective that the envy of Johnny/Texas A&M is out of control, and most of y'all can't legally drink.

not a knock against jff but when you (as in aggies in general) start 20,000 threads on the boy (see last season), there's gonna be push back- it's just normal human nature. you can't have all the glory and expect no criticism.
Not an aggie

Seems to be the typical response on the issue. Thats okay, i see similar deflections within my own fanbase often.
They said he was "furious" because he through three INTs in a scrimmage. Im not saying that he has anger issues, but I am also not saying that he doesnt.

Nah just a chump thing to do regardless if it was a GA or not.

i give up- i was actually trying to be nice before since i'm not a jff hater or an ag hater. however, i see now you're all just looking for a fight and i'm not interested.
all i said was you all started 11 million threads back during the season- can you actually argue that fact? he was very successful. you combine both those facts and there's going to be backlash. it's the way of the world, i didn't start the fire yadda ya.

Maybe you'd better wait with this until you see what he changes it to.

But the point I was making was those threads were no met with he reverance and due praise Johnny was deserved. People thought Tyler Wilson and AJ McCarron were better, and belittled us Aggies for suggesting otherwise. I am not looking for a fight, I just want you to clearly and repeatedly repent for any blasphemous statements made against Jonathan Paul Manziel.

We look for "heros". We prop them up, and in alot of cases, they turn out to be idiots. IE JFF.

JHe's doing it to himself! No fan made him shove a coach. No fan caused him and his parents to be called in by the university! JFF did that all on his on. His actions off the field... now on the field.

12 pages for a non-story like this. I'm not reading through the first 11 pages, but hopefully someone brought up how stupid it would be for a GA -- who usually rank just above towel girls on the org chart -- to get in the face of a scholarship athlete to 'gloat' over a play.
Hell last season JFF would have punched him in the face. This is a clear sign of growth...

Competition breeds fire, and things can get heated between players and/or coaches during football practice. Happens a thousand times a day across America. I'd like to think this is 1 of 1000.
