Anyone think that Snead will go pro if he has a good season? This is going to be the last year without a Rookie Salary Cap.

I doubt it. He has a good shot at the Heisman in 2010 so I think he will stay.

The public intox is nothing imo. If OPD wanted to get me on PI, they could have numerous times. I'm sure it's the same over in Arkansas. If he was arrested for beating an Arkansas hooker, sure he's a trouble maker, but he got drunk and was in public. You know what that's called, a college student on friday night.

Honestly Fayetteville cops are bigger trouble makers than most of our students and thats saying something.

Mallett will throw for more yards and touchdowns than Snead.

Arkansas- Be honest, would you rather have Snead or Mallett?

So you're saying Fayetteville Cops = Oxford Cops. That sucks.

The piece is part of a series on the nation’s top-five quarterbacks, with Snead joining Oklahoma’s Sam Bradford, Texas’ Colt McCoy, Ohio State’s Terrelle Pryor and Florida’s Tim Tebow on the list.
Not yet.

The jury is out on who is better as one of them has yet to take a snap in the SEC.

how do you measure the success of two QB's if not for yardage and TD's?
qb rating for one.. yards per attempt.. td-int ratio.. completion percentage.. yards and touchdowns alone can be very misleading.. i mean if you just want to go off yards and touch downs alone than you are saying nate davis and jimmy clausen were better than any sec quarterback last year

Has to do with the system, kind of like Graham Harrell who has all but been forgotten about by now.
Are you fricking comparing Petrino to that dumb shite at Tech? If so I will pay no more attention to your posts

Mike Leach is an offensive genious.
There was nobody with real NFL talent on that team besides Crabtree.

Thats not the argument...Comparing Petrino's system to Leach's system are two totally different animals...To compare them are laughable

It isn't laughable to compare them, but it certainly isn't fair.
Mike Leach's offense is a gimmick, and Petrino's offense isn't.
Both throw the ball around with reckless abandon.

Michael Smith is the SEC's returning leading rusher and All-Purpose Yardage leader.
I can't sit here with a straight face and make a case that Petrino doesn't like to air it out but he obviously gives the backs the ball.

Whoa calm down there, everythings going to be ok. If you think Mike Leach is a dumb shite when it comes to offensive schemes, you are in fact an idiot. And I wasn't comparing them, just stating the fact that both there schemes just so happen to be pass happy.

fixed.
Arkansas finished 10th in rushing last year, Michael Smith got most of those carries.
Ole Miss had a player with 700, two players with 600, and a player with 400.
We were third in the SEC in rushing.

Playing from behind the entire year we were only 57% pass as compared to 2007 and 2006 where we were 64% run. Petrino's offense isn't an air it out offense as it is a holy shite I don't know what the next play is gonna be offense
