The Sark hire at least makes a little sense as far as his philosophy goes. Plus, they were both coordinators under Carroll, so they have a connection there.

Pruitt has always been an Alabama guy and probably wanted to coach that defense his entire life. He'll likely take a promotion at some point, whether it's a college HC job or an assistant at the next level, but I imagine he's satisfied with his current position right now.
