So the amazing Ed Orgeron is acceptable then. On it.

Apparently Mark Few isn't an "amazing" coach

Most of this is very meh.

National Championships are what matter. Amazing coaches win natty's.

That is your subjective view of the word (just like I have mine) but just using the qualifier of a NC winner is too rigid imo
Still, the "win something" solely standing for winning a NC is silly

The amazing Gene Chizik

We both know Ogre isn't amazing. Neither was Chizik. Both caught lightning in a bottle for one lucky season ands couldn't come close to repeating that success.
Krzyzewski is amazing. Jimmy Calhoun was amazing. Saban is amazing. Osborne was amazing. Pete Carroll is amazing. You guys are too easily impressed with bullshite.

You better change the name in your sig quote back to Nate Oats then

Because apparently what he's done with Alabama basketball is just "meh" by your standards

So "amazing" is a career of sustained excellence with national titles included. Ok, that's fair enough. Pretty elite fraternity.
I'd put Pearl in that next category then - a career of sustained very good teams without a national title. I don't know what the verbiage for that is, but that's what I'd put him. Pearl, Kelvin Sampson, Dana Altman, Huggins.
